KILDARE THROUGH AND THROUGH
Naoise Ó Cearúil has been a dedicated public servant for over a decade, first elected to Kildare County Council in 2014 at just 24 years of age. Re-elected in both 2019 and 2024, Naoise served as Mayor of Kildare from 2021 to 2022, championing local issues and working to improve Kildare. Born and raised in Maynooth, Naoise’s roots in the area run deep. Educated in Leixlip, Kilcock, and Maynooth, he has a strong connection to the local education system.

Professionally, Naoise spent the previous nine years before his election to the Dáil working in the tech sector, commuting to Dublin while staying actively involved in the community.
Living in Maynooth with his wife and newborn son, Naoise is passionate about addressing key issues like childcare, social infrastructure, and the cost of living. Naoise is determined to ensure that Kildare North has the resources it needs to thrive, both now and into the future.
